How to Choose the Right Branding Method for Your Merch
The branding method you choose can make or break how your merch looks and feels. Here's how to think about it.

You want something that looks premium and lasts forever
Go with laser engraving. Your logo is burned permanently into metal, timber, leather or glass. No ink, no fading, no peeling. Ever. Ideal for corporate gifts, drink bottles and anything you want someone to actually keep.
For glassware specifically, real glass etching takes it up another notch. A satin-finish design etched directly into the glass, dishwasher safe and built to last. Perfect for hospitality venues, events or high-end gifting.

You want full colour with wow factor
For drink bottles and hard products, rotary digital print is a standout.
UV ink is applied as the product spins, wrapping detailed full-colour artwork almost entirely around the surface with a gorgeous gloss finish.
It's dry and ready to ship straight off the machine. If you want a drink bottle that genuinely turns heads, this is the method.
Dye sublimation is for WOW colour. Ink fuses directly into the
material, allowing vibrant, edge-to-edge printing including photos
and complex artwork. Think stubby holders, umbrellas, towels, sports uniforms and ceramics. Nothing else comes close for all-over colour impact.
Digital UV print covers similar ground for flat or irregularly shaped hard products.

You want great-looking apparel or uniforms
Embroidery is the gold standard. Stitched directly into the fabric
with a raised, tactile finish that signals quality. The right choice
for team uniforms, headware and jackets. If your design has lots
of colours or fine detail that embroidery can't quite capture, faux
embroidery (a heat transfer that mimics the look) gives you the
same vibe with more flexibility.
For bold graphics on tees, hoodies or tote bags, screen print and
colourflex transfer is hard to beat. High-impact, cost-effective
on larger runs, and the colours stay sharp.

You want branded merch on a budget
Pad print is the workhorse of the promo world. Affordable,
precise and works on almost any shape including pens, keyrings
and curved products. Clean and simple, it does the job well.
Want the look of etched glassware without the price tag?
Imitation etch uses a special ink to create that same frosted,
premium aesthetic at a fraction of the cost.

You want something that stands out in gifting or packaging
Hot stamp foil adds a metallic sheen in gold, silver or colour
that immediately elevates the product. Notebooks, gift boxes,
premium packaging.
When you want something that looks
expensive the moment someone picks it up. Embossing and
Debossing adds a premium feel to any notepad too!
